To Take His Children Home

The Lord is coming back to earth to take His children home,

No more in sin and sorrow will they have to roam.

 

He’s taking everyone who loves Him from their heart

All who are fully surrendered, and have consecrated every part.

 

He’s looking down from heaven now, with eyes filled of tears,

For most are unprepared and yet, His coming nears.

 

The cry goes out, Awake! Awake! The time is now at hand!

But few heed these warnings, and even fewer take their stand.

 

As in the days of Noah, so shall the end time be

Men are so caught up in things temporal, that the signs they do not see.

 

But our days are surely numbered, for soon Christ will appear,

The signs foretold in Matthew show His coming’s almost here.
