Take it to God
When
someone you love doesn't love you,
When the sky is grey and you're feeling blue.
When you're so upset but you just don't know why,
When you've cried so much that you just can’t cry.
When nothing you do is ever right,
When your family always seems to fight.
When someone's told you the way that they feel,
When it’s left a scar, that just won’t heal.
When you need to talk but no one is there,
When you’re so worn out that you just couldn't care.
When someone you love is breaking your heart,
When they say the words "I want to part."
When you tell a friend a secret, and they blurt it out,
When you’re so angry you feel you could shout.
When you’re never in trouble, just always in strife,
When you’re sick of living what we call life.
When your heart is breaking, and you’re falling apart,
Take it to God let Him read your heart.
Tell Him the truth about the way that you feel,
I guarantee He'll listen to the whole ordeal.
He won’t tell anyone that's what I promise you,
And He'll show you a way to get you through.
Yes, He cares so much for people like you,
That this is what He decided to do...
He sent His only son, to die on a tree,
A cruel harsh death for you and me,
That through Him we might have eternal life,
Because our Lord Jesus paid the price,
To all that believe He offers new life,
Through the shed blood of Jesus Christ,
A life without sorrow, a life without pain,
Just follow His example, and believe on His name.
Live your life, as He'd have you to
Show love and kindness in all that you do.
Live every day like it is your last
Think of your future not of your past.
So as we watch and wait and pray,
For when he returns on that glorious day,
Help the needy; give to the poor,
Don't walk away and shut the door.
So make sure you're ready for His return,
Take time to open His word, read and learn.
You pray for me and I'll pray for you,
Because I hope to get to Heaven, don’t you?
