As they cut her from the wreck

Open the Door

My life looked wretched and my destiny unsure,
When I heard Jesus knock at the door.

I opened it slowly, then bid Him come in.
Into my heart so wretched with sin.

I told Him my burdens that I could not bear.
He told me I needed to let Him take care.

Hesitantly I handed over my life,
And He helped me keep out of strife.

He washed my life whiter than snow,
And showed me the right way to go.

He helped me with the things I found hard to bear.
He rescued me from total despair.

So when you have burdens you find hard to bear.
Your life looks wretched and you’re about to despair.

Turn to Jesus and offer a prayer.
Ask him to help your burdens bear.

He’s ready to help you, what ever the problem may be.
All you have to do is come on bended knee.

Ask him to help you keep out of strife.
Why not let him transform your whole life?
