Look up, Hang on, He’s There

When you’re down, look up,
When you’re discouraged, pray,
And when all seems like darkness
He’ll show you the way.

 

When you’re slipping, grab on,

When you’re hurting, cry out,

And when you feel all is lost

Don’t give into doubt.

 

When you’re lonely, He’ll comfort,

When you’re weak, He’ll be strong,

And when your way seems unclear,

He’ll lead you along.

 

When you’re tempted, stand firm,

When you’re criticized, stay true,

And no matter what happens

He’ll see you through.

 

When you’re trampled, get up,

When you’re glad rejoice,

And when making decisions

Listen for His Voice.

 

When you’re speaking, speak truth,

When you’re working, work well…

For when your records are read,

Life’s story they’ll tell.

 

When you’re weary, press on,

And when you’re called, go forward…

Making every decision

In the fear of the Lord.
