As they cut her from the wreck

I Want to Wash Your Feet

I want to wash Your feet, Lord,
To wet them with my tears;
To say I'm awful sorry for how
I've hurt You through the years.

I want to wash Your feet, Lord,
Just to wash away the pain;
To erase my wrongs toward You
And to remove their every stone.

I want to wash Your feet, Lord,
And make every wrong thing right;
To ask for Your forgiveness
For not walking in your light.

I want to wash Your feet Lord,
To cleanse my heart and soul;
To know that I'm forgiven
And once again to be made whole.

I want to wash Your feet, Lord,
As it's You that I have wronged;
I want to say I'm sorry
And be forgiven, for which I've longed.
