By my Side
Lord, I know that you are
leading,
Just help me grasp your hand.
I know that you will see me through
All of Satan’s quicksand.
Although sometimes I may feel scared
Of what may lie ahead,
I know that you will guide me
And keep me in your stead.
I know you always have in mind
What is best for me.
It’s just sometimes the end result
I find hard to see.
Although all seems darkness,
I know you’re by my side.
And soon the sun will shine through,
And dry the tears I’ve cried.
